Quick start guide: translating our texts into English

Do you want to translate the texts on our website into English? Or into another language? You can do so simply online. In this guide, we explain how.

Translating our website

Use your browser’s translation option. You can read how in your website's browser:

Follow the steps and our website will be automatically translated into the language of your choice.

Translating your documents

After you log in, you can view your personal documents. You can also translate these documents. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Login. A new window opens, so you can go back to this explanation.
  2. Log in using your DigiD. If you don't have DigiD, you can also log in using your personal account. Do you not have a personal account yet? Please don't hesitate to contact us.
  3. Select the document you want to translate. Click on the download pictogram.
  4. Save the document onto your computer.
  5. Go to Google Translate.
  6. Click on the ‘Documents' button. You can drag and drop the document here or click on the 'Browse your files' button. Select the document you want to translate.
  7. Click on the ‘Translate' button.
  8. Then click on the 'Download translation' button.
  9. You can now read the translated document and save it onto your computer.
